So in all the "spare" time I have had.... I was being slightly fesecious just then.... I started making this silk flower/pin wheels to put on headbands. I saw a similar one on line, but wasn't willing to pay 18.50 plus shipping for it, so I decided I could make my own. Well instead I made two, one for each of my sisters (I have yet to actually finish my own... go figure). I thought they turned out pretty cute and here are my little sisters modeling them for me! ..... and now in all my future "spare" time I have to make two more like Eloisa's for two of her friends who have birthdays coming up and my mom wants to pay me to make them for her friends. We will see. I wasn't planning on making them to sell, I just wanted one for me!

Those are SO CUTE Kayla! I'm not usually into that kind of stuff, but I think you did a really great job. There are a bunch of girls in my ward who do crafy things like that and they sell online at a shop called "etsy.com" which I don't know tht they sell that much off the website, but you should look into it :) Or at least put some at a botique in Idaho Falls :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Nichole!! I am thinking about having a friend of our family sell them in her boutique but I am afraid I wouldn't be able to keep up with it! We will see. Life has been a little crazy with both of us working full time and Brad going to school full time. It is kind of fun for me to do while Brad works on school and when Trevin is asleep. Instead of watching pointless tv shows!
